Ever have one of those times when you buy a new toy and you just hope it lives up to your expectations only to fall woefully short? Yeah, me too, so it was with high hopes but also a little bit of trepidation that I made an impulse buy on Amazon for a Brother Scan N Cut 2 even though I already own a Cricut Explore. I really didn't need a cutting machine but I saw a video on youtube showing how awesome it is for fussy cutting and it was a decent price ($249 at the time) so I said what the heck.
Well let me tell you, HOLY MOLY this thing is AWESOME! Forget buying the matching dies with all your stamp sets. Forget complicated programing. Forget painstaking hours of fussy cutting by hand. It's all a thing of the past with the BSnC2! I am a fussy cutting fool! I took my BSnCN2 out of the box and had my first sheet of stamped images cut out in under 10 minutes. With so many ongoing projects this little work horse has become my new BFF.
Check out what I've cut out in my first session using my machine. First I fussy cut a bunch of halloween images for my halloween scrapbook pages:
(these are also brand new stamps!! You can find them here: Halloween stamps
My first page turned out awesome:
Then because I was giddy with all the possibilities, I fussy cut out tons more images to start working on my foundation pages for my 2016 December Daily Scrapbook Album:
(Psst... these brand new stamps are available right now in the shop!)
You can find them here: Christmas Stamps
Did I mention this all took me about 30 minutes to cut out? The coolest thing is that this machine can cut on the edge of the image, slightly inside the image or you can add a border (with several different thicknesses to choose from!). And you don't need your computer to use it for this feature. But the best part about this machine? It can scan and cut up to almost 12x12 surface area!
If you are looking for an amazing machine to make all your fussy cutting dreams come true, look no further than the Brother Scan N Cut 2. It has the shortest learning curve of all the machines. It literally takes 3 minutes to load the mat, scan and push a few buttons. No software to learn it's all in the machine. This is a game change for sure.
(This is my honest review, I am not being compensated and I am not affiliated with Amazon or Brother in anyway, I just LOVE this machine so much I needed to share how cool it is).
