Amazing card by Petra Söderström

Petra Söderström has done it again! Petra impressed us with her amazing murder mystery card ( http://starvingartistampsgallery.blogspot.com/2010/01/petras-murder-mystery-card.html ) and has really set the bar with her next creation featuring images from our DoodleFactory Classic Decor and Boudoir Set.

I asked Petra to tell us the story behind this card and here it is...

A couple of months ago my friend moved in with her boyfriend. This is a congratulations for her Birthday as well as a moving in together card. My text on the blanket on the floor inside the card is her congratulations. But I hope they will be helping to grow the population in Stockholm (where they have moved to) real soon ;o) It is my friend and her boyfriend in the bed on the front of the card and the inside is telling a little story... They had been drinking some wine on the blanket and then they took off all their clothes and ran off to bed!

Eva's yummy projects

I think if I had to choose who would hold the title for the most prolific card creator I know it would have to be Eva Andren. I know that when I visit her blog I will discover a treasure trove of unseen new cards (http://muffinspyssel.blogspot.com) Today's artwork mostly shares cards featuring our new DoodleFactory Creatures II stamps. This first card shows off two tasty characters from our Valentines Remix set Carmello and Sprinkle:

Customer shared artwork by Sheena Brooks

Today I have a couple of really exciting projects to show off shared by one of our customers Sheena Brooks from Ontario, Canada. This first project was made for a little girl's birthday (Happy Birthday Amelia!). Amelia's party theme was princess. Luckily Sheena remembered she had her Fairytale set and made this awesome step card:

Sheena is also Ava, designer Jenn McMillan's new little baby's godmother. Jenn decorated Ava's nursery with a mural of DoodleFactory characters (photos to come soon Jenn?) and Sheena offered her quilting skills up for a matching quilt.

Petra's murder mystery card!

You know a card is going to be incredibly detailed when it takes you seven photos to show it off! This outstanding piece of artwork is shared by another one of our Swedish customers Petra Soderstrom. Petra created this card for her husband as part of his christmas present. The present was a three course meal at a murder mystery restaurant, where, while you dine the actors preform the show.

To make his present a little more fun she created this card with his own little murder mystery inside. His job was to find the murder weapon. See for yourself how this mystery unfolds:

He finds the bottle of poison on the table. But the cup of wine has been spilled, it's not the murder weapon but a little ruse by Petra to misdirect!

It is only with a closer look that a concealed flipped up pillow reveals:

It was a knife hidden in the chaise!
